In the Law of Moses, most offences attracted stoning to death. Such offences included adultery and cases of murder, as outlined in Law Books. Regarded as God’s people, the Israelites were expected to purge all evil, by stoning offenders. At least two or three witnesses were necessary for the execution, according to the written Law (Deuteronomy 17:6).
However, without the Holy Spirit, there was room for improper handling of justice. Even the idea of bringing two or three witnesses, to justify wrongness, was open to abuse. A person could corruptly pay two or three witnesses to justify nonexistent wrongfulness. It is impossible for human beings, without God’s Spirit, to exercise good justice, which requires the executor not to be a sinner himself.
The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now, what do you say?” They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” (John 8:3-10 NIV).
In this episode, Jesus brought a new dimension that the teachers of the law could not entertain. Their focus had been stuck on administering justice, per written law, without considering the spiritual intent. As long as two or three witnesses were available, the written law had to be applied. Under those circumstances, the accused remained without solace.
Jesus did not suggest that the Law should be set aside. He simply said, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” This suggestion was particularly directed at the teachers of the Law. Why could they not come forth, as backed by the written law, and be the first to throw stones at that adulterous woman?
“This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus” (Romans 3:22-26 NIV).
God’s justice is different, in that it addresses the spiritual person, whose condition cannot be observed physically. Even in our time, most men have been convicted of rape which they may have not committed. Rape cases are rampant, but so are liars, like those faking having been raped.
Law enforcement should never be considered spiritually safe. Many people are in jail for offences they never committed. And many are out of jail for offences they know to have committed. This is a result of allowing the unspiritual judges to preside over the courts of law.
Only the spiritual application of justice could unravel hidden mysteries, on committed offences. Truth, coming from the spirit, cannot be considered on the basis of physical testimonies. What often comes out of the mouth of a sinner is commonly the opposite of the reality on the ground.
Tinashe Mugabe’s DNA platform has unravelled some interesting realities, in paternity cases. The DNA testing reveals what cannot be disputed by both spouses. Falsely accused women get exonerated, while the guilty ones get exposed. This is what true justice entails.
Without the DNA testing facility, it cannot be possible to practice justice on matters of paternity. This shows that there is nothing superstitious about the works of Jesus, after all. As a spiritual person, Jesus addressed the inner person. With the advent of science, hidden secrecies can now be scientifically detected with precision.
The DNA program should be commended. But others suggest that it should never have been allowed, as having wreaked the apparently stable families. This spells the only reason why Jesus was found to be unacceptable. Pretenders can never be comfortable with the truth.
Simplicities like CCTV are highly effective when delivering justice in law courts. Such milestones are regarded with disdain, by those assuming benefits in criminality. We live in a world where righteousness competes with wickedness.
Wicked governments prefer injustice at the expense of justice. A wicked governing system uses the judiciary, not for the execution of fair justice, but according to political convenience. Such an idea uses law courts, for purposes of thwarting political opponents.
In the early nineteen fifties, an American author and Scientist, L Ron Hubbard, discovered an e-meter (electro-psycho-meter). That garget facility was designed to access spiritual communication. Rather than celebrate such landmark discovery, L. Ron Hubbard was viciously vilified by those in government. Scientology was considered more deadly than DNA, by those uninterested in truth-telling.
When allowed to practice freely, Scientology could change the world upside down. Most of what is commonly taken for granted as truth is, actually, falsehood. This includes education and the Christian religion. There are many people benefitting from falsehood, at the expense of the common good.
The e-meter became the first of its kind to facilitate the scientific attainment of spiritual freedom. To escape from the unwarranted vilification, Scientology had to hide behind religion, protected under US laws. This was drawn from the fact that Scientology addresses the spirit, just as aimed by every other religion.
This marked the birth of the Church of Scientology, which does not subscribe to believing anything without proof. Scientology helps those willing to discover their own spiritual freedoms. Having discovered the truth, the individual would then be informed, on matters of the Christian faith, for instance.
Scientology is not as popular as one would expect, considering its scientific applications and successes on spiritual freedoms. Just as criminals cannot subscribe to DNA testing, those practising wickedness can never be comfortable with the advancement of Scientology.
Even though helpful in restoring wrecked marriages, offenders wish DNA testing was never invented. Jesus declared that only the truth sets people free. But criminals believe that falsehoods, set people free. What is important is appreciating that truth is a spiritual matter.
Rarely do ordinary people subscribe to truthful information. When Jesus declared that only the truth sets people free, He was not proffering a religious sentiment. Some human beings carry the component of truth, within them, but are unwilling to confront it. Others prefer pretending to be someone else, rather than themselves.
There is a behavioural pattern, upheld by most people, for purposes of being approved by others. There exist several reasons for such behaviour, like the unwillingness to confront what reminds painful experiences in the past.
People prefer being identified with what they are not, for purposes of attaining approval from others. For instance, black people appear as un-respectful of themselves. In a black community, whites can be given unqualified power, for none other than their skin colour.
It is clearly observable that blacks feel inferior in the presence of white people. There is a falsehood in that black Africans face racism, anywhere in the world. The appearance of racism comes from the fact that blacks do not respect themselves, in the first place.
The behaviour of those blacks projects what the whites view as appropriately descriptive of such blacks’ viewpoint. There is no doubt that racism against blacks would change, overnight, when the blacks start respecting themselves. This is observable for anyone who cares to look, carefully.
The ill-treatment of other humans doesn’t have to be limited to racism. How would one describe evidence of xenophobia in South Africa, for instance? With that embarrassing behaviour, how can blacks unashamedly insist on speaking against white supremacism?
Zimbabweans are referred to as “Makwerekwere” in South Africa. The reason is those Zimbabwean’s inability to respect themselves. The fact that they cannot confront foolishness in their country’s governing system indicates that they have no respect for themselves. Obviously, they cannot blame the whites for being called Makwerekwere, as racism would be out of the question.
All these nefarious human behaviours are a reflection of degraded humanity. The starting point is not about changing other people but changing oneself. This is not condoning racism or xenophobic incidences, but problems associated with the human mind.
How did Zimbabweans vote for those using courts to protect rulers and their families? This reveals the blame game, where the uneducated are said to be the voters. The considered intelligent are in the Diaspora, complaining about racism. Over fifteen million people find convenience in blaming ED.
When truly respecting oneself, as a civilized individual, it is impossible to vote for a psychotic to govern. Others are comfortable remaining in tired excuses of vote-rigging, but refusing to take responsibility against riggers. The numbers are relevant in producing outcomes in elections. The reason why one did not vote is disrespecting self.
That person deserves to be called a Kwerekwere, regardless of his protest against the term. This is a brief description of challenges facing humanity, in general. Talking about racism without considering these facts is hollow. Those commonly accused of wrongness, are not necessarily to blame.
The complainant is his own jailer but refuses to take responsibility to confront that reality. This reflects the only reason why Jesus revealed that judging is not justifiable. Finding fault with other people implies finding fault with oneself.
Criminals have existed since Adam. We have to focus on the aspect of confronting the truth, for righteousness to prevail. Everything else is a mishmash, until having addressed the inner person. That inner person is not identified by skin colour, as created in God’s image.
Without addressing that reality, imprisonment, or anything considered as justice, is fictitious. This constitutes a reason for criminalizing CCTV. This is as now known that some people demonize DNA testing, including being contemptuous of Scientology.
Even Jesus was criminalized, and crucified, only because of those hidden causes of criminalizing the exposures of hidden truths. To perfectly understand this cantankerous behaviour, one cannot go further than observing the governing practices by ZANU PF.
Is it not the fear of death that causes a person to allow deliberate violation of the constitution, by a chef? Why are all the arms of governance used to protect the interests of ZANU PF? Ordinary supporters of ZANU PF assume that to be protecting the ideology of a revolutionary party.
This is hollow, but sustaining ZANU PF, nevertheless. How can a normal person entertain such ridiculous reasoning? In Zimbabwe we have to thank God that CCC is projecting a glimmer of light, introducing a modern philosophy of self-governance.
This requires self-respect, before taking responsibility on matters of governance. This is what carries the only hope of reversing the tag of being identified as Makwerekwere. Rather than neglecting, in order to blame others, a responsible person restores order in his environment.
That person does not waste time worrying about perceived racism in other people. Zimbabwe is prosperous, with the potential to become greater than most of those countries, now revered as more developed. Before judging the behaviour of other races, whether American or Russian, the starting point is to look at what happens in one’s own land.
There are many people who are in jail when they should not be in jail. And there are many people who should be in jail but are outside, causing havoc among those considering themselves as good citizens. Restoring order is the duty of every citizen.
Instead of blaming Chief Justice Malaba, ordinary citizens should take full responsibility that their condition is a result of their own laxity. Those occupying judicial offices illegally, do so, because the citizens allowed them. The first thing to know is that justice is of God.
A judge exercises his duty on behalf of God, who exists in every individual. Therefore, God-fearing people cannot allow evil people to occupy positions of authority. Zimbabweans need responsible citizens, for normalcy to prevail.
